Role Description The Farm Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Wasco, CA. This role oversees daily farm operations, including supervising field crews, scheduling and monitoring planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvest activities, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Farm Supervisor coordinates with management on production plans, tracks input usage, maintains accurate records, and reports on crop progress and yield expectations. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment and facilities, identifying maintenance needs, and working with service providers and vendors as required. The role also involves training team members, enforcing compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting communication between the farm, office staff, and clients to meet operational and financial objectives. Qualifications Experience supervising farm operations, including scheduling field activities, managing crews, and overseeing crop production. Knowledge of irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and harvest practices, with a focus on efficient and safe field execution. Ability to maintain accurate operational records, monitor budgets, and support reporting needs for management and clients. Strong communication and leadership skills to train, guide, and motivate team members and collaborate with office and client stakeholders. Understanding of agricultural safety standards and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to compliance and risk reduction. Proficiency in basic computer applications and mobile tools for scheduling, data entry, and reporting. Previous experience in commercial farming or agricultural management; orchard or row-crop experience is beneficial. Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform essential physical tasks.
