Compensation: $0.64 per mile + $30.00/Stop and $30.00/Detention Pay plus a quarterly bonus and a $5,000 Sign On Bonus. (Weekly Average is up to $1500.00. Shuttle Route can average up to $2000.00/weekly).

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 18 months verifiable interstate tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the last 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no more than 3 within the past 7 years
• No reckless driving; including but not limited to speeding 15 or more MPH and/or leaving the scene of an accident in the past 3 years
• No at-fault DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
• No Driving Under the Influence, DUI violations within the past 7 years
• Valid Class A CDL required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a sleeper trailer and 53' trailer
• Operates tractor/trailer in accordance with Company Policies, DOT Guidelines, and traffic laws
• Conducts and documents pre- and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer
• Ensures cargo is secured correctly
• Makes product deliveries according to proper route and schedule as indicated on the manifest
• Ensures product accuracy and quality and visually inspecting product as it is unloaded from the trailer
• Obtains customer signatures on proof of delivery and submits to the dispatcher as required
• Cleans and sweeps truck and trailer as needed
• Operates and maintains a Mobile Electronic Onboard Recording device
• Reports truck, trailer, equipment, and material problems and/or damage, accidents, and traffic violations promptly to Fleet Supervisor
• Maintains a clean and professional appearance
• Attends departmental staff and safety meetings
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear
