Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required (2 twelve-hour shifts per 6-week period)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit at an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in on-call coverage as required by unit scheduling needs
• Respond to emergency response assignments as directed, including during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• AWHONN Beginner and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced certification
• STABLE certification
