At MAC, our housekeeping team is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our members expect and deserve. Beyond the physical upkeep of our facility, our Housekeepers contribute to a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere for both staff and members.This is a full-time, fully on-site position at our club in Portland, OR. Must have availability 3:00pm – 11:30pm Monday-Saturday and 2:30pm – 11:00pm on Sundays.What You'll DoRestroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect various surfaces including toilets, partitions, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.Supply Management: Check and restock essential supplies like soap, tissues, toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, cologne, and combs.General Cleaning: Clean and dust offices, reading lounge, and other areas; polish furniture; empty trash and recycling containers.Laundry Handling: Deliver fresh towels, collect used towels, and transport them to the laundry holding area.Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and dust or damp mop floors.Detail Cleaning: Spot wash walls in sport court spaces to remove marks and scuffs.Chemical Handling: Use cleaning fluids, chemicals, and agents safely with personal protective equipment.What You'll BringExperience: Basic janitorial skills and familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment are preferred.Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and members.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb.; frequently bend, squat, climb, twist, crawl; reach above shoulders and grasp or squeeze objects; stand and walk throughout the entire shift; work safely with chemicals.What You'll GainFull-time employees: Enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance.Facility access: Free access to our exercise room and classes, climbing gym, and pools.Convenience: Free parking and discounted public transportation passes.Retirement: Participate in our 401(k) program with an employer match.Well-being: Access our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the Headspace wellness app for free.Perks: Enjoy discounts on club services and meals.Join our MAC team and contribute to an environment where cleanliness and community go hand in hand.
