Hair Stylist Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional, welcoming experience for every child and parent or guardian.
• Consult and communicate clearly with clients and parents to understand their needs and deliver the requested service.
• Perform high-quality haircuts, styling, shampooing, and other services offered by the salon.
• Create a patient, fun, and comfortable environment for children of different ages, personalities, and comfort levels.
• Follow all safety and sanitation requirements, including properly cleaning and disinfecting tools and workstations between clients.
• Educate clients and parents on appropriate haircare and recommend retail products suited to their needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation while contributing to the overall cleanliness of the salon.
• Work efficiently to keep appointments on schedule without compromising service quality.
• Accurately use the point-of-sale and appointment systems, as needed.
• Support front-desk responsibilities, including greeting clients, answering phones, and assisting with check-in and checkout, when needed.
• Work collaboratively with salon leadership and team members to provide a smooth client experience.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and events.
• Follow salon policies, service standards, and operating procedures.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive prepared and on time for scheduled shifts.
• Assist with additional salon responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform assigned opening and closing duties, including preparing and cleaning workstations, sanitizing tools and common areas, restocking supplies, completing closing checklists, and helping ensure the salon is ready for clients or properly secured at the end of the day.

Active cosmetology or barber license required. Pay: $21.00 - 30.00 in total compensation per hour. Benefits:
