Location: Atlantis, FL

Number of Beds: 24

Facility Type: Acute Care Medical/Surgical Facility

General Information

This department specializes in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services. It is also a teaching facility that ranks among the best in the nation.

Staffing Information

Day Shift: Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Technicians
Night Shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Technicians (varies based on volume)

Patient Care

Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, depending on patient stability.

Equipment and Technology

Type of Equipment: All GE equipment, including MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy.

Electronic Medical Records: Meditech

Call Requirements

Employees may be required to take 4-6 shifts a month on their off days.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

ARRT (CT) Certification
BLS Certification
Florida State Department of Health License
Experience with GE equipment and Meditech is strongly preferred

Preferred Skills: Any additional experience or skills will be considered favorably.

Typical Procedures

The unit performs a variety of imaging procedures, including:

CT Scans
MRI
X-Rays

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong communication skills
Knowledge of medical and anatomical concepts
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to multi-task and work with a diverse team of physicians, radiologists, and patients

Dress Code

All staff are required to wear black scrubs and must provide their own attire.
