IT Resource Manager II

Job Overview The IT Resource Manager II partners with Business Leaders, IT HR, and team members to communicate and facilitate business goals, programs, and processes in support of talent management. The role evaluates and plans resource needs and functions as an advocate for employees, guiding career paths and development. The position is intermediate level, addressing team dynamics, supporting morale, and resolving conflicts. Responsibilities Contribute to planning and executing talent strategies that align workforce capabilities with organizational goals. Partner with stakeholders to identify workforce needs, conduct skills gap analyses, and develop plans to address current and future demand. Use workforce planning insights to inform resourcing decisions, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization across projects and teams. Leverage performance data to identify high‑potential employees and guide succession and talent management initiatives. Provide budget recommendations and collaborate with finance to develop workforce planning budgets. Drive recruitment and selection of top talent with HR and stakeholders. Develop and manage onboarding processes to integrate new hires and improve onboarding outcomes. Define or update career paths, set SMART goals, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews. Coach employees through development plans, address performance concerns, and facilitate corrective actions with HR. Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, monitor morale, and execute action plans to improve workplace culture. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of related experience, including 2 years supervisory; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight years related experience or 4 years education + 8 years experience may substitute for bachelor’s. Compliance with Florida SB 1310 regarding experience substitution. Experience supporting IT organizations, workforce planning, staffing, and career development. Proficiency with workforce planning, resourcing, performance management, professional development, competency assessment, organizational design, and employee experience.
