Urology Physician Locums Job in Michigan Clinic + OR Beginning August 3 - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Monday-Friday clinic and OR coverage, NO CALL
Typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day weekly
8:00 am - 5:00 pm; OR days may start at 7:00 am depending on block time
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

Requirements
Board Certified (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery)
Michigan medical license, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA
ACLS
Fellowship - highly preferred
Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or equivalent foreign training in urology

Required Procedures / Skills
General urology: Adult
Laparoscopic surgeries
Ureteroscopy
Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy
TRUS biopsies
Fertility work-up

Assignment Details
Practice setting includes both inpatient and outpatient
Average of 20 patients per shift
Admissions and hospital rounding required during the workday
Support staff includes RN, MA, PA/NP, and office staff
Facility Trauma Level: 3
Da Vinci Xi robot onsite
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
EMR: Athena (clinic) and Meditech (hospital)
