Compliance Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position plans, directs and organizes special projects as assigned by the CCO. This position also oversees the Compliance Program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The position ensures the Board of Trustees, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company's Standards of Conduct. The compliance office exists as a channel of communication to receive and direct compliance issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution and as a final internal source with which concerned parties may communicate after other formal channels and resources have been exhausted. Acts as Facility HIPAA Privacy Officer.

• Five (5) years in medical environment, preferably in acute care hospital
• Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance Officer (CCO)

Position Pay Range: $55,827.20 - $92,518.40/Annual Salary
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Imperial Valley Health District (IVHD) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
