Vice President & General Manager, Goodyear Retail (Akron)

Reporting to MD Americas & Chief Sales Officer Americas Consumer (Executive Committee), the Vice President & General Manager, Goodyear Retail leads the Goodyear and Just Tires retail portfolio which includes the strategy, commercial performance, and customer experience across 500+ company-owned locations nationally. This role will provide leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and providing coaching and development to retail leadership across the region, fostering a high-performance, customer-oriented culture.Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Develop winning growth strategies that drive revenue and profitability while confirming the brand's iconic positioning in the automotive ecosystemIncrease B2C sales via a customer-focused and insight led approach. Identify opportunities for a redefined value proposition, and superior serviceDrive a data/analytics-oriented culture, supporting decisions with ROI analyses and optimizing pricing and business modelsLead the end-to-end customer experience, redefining the journey and continuously improving satisfactionRefine operations to increase efficiency, ensure consistency, and deliver extraordinary customer and employee experiencesCollaborate across the enterprise and partner with key stakeholders to deliver company-wide objectivesKey Experience15 or more years of senior sales leadership experience with a deep understanding of automotive industry and business operations10 or more years of experience working in leadership position(s) accountable for strategy development and executionExperience successfully leading a multi-unit retail operation with at least 300 stores / outletsPrevious experience managing retail organization, preferably in auto or adjacent industriesPrevious experience managing a P&L (profit and loss) as part of a business leadership experienceProven track record in building and leading high-performing teamsKey SkillsHighly strategic, operationally, and strategically savvy utilizing a data-driven mindset and long-term vision Demonstrated ability to profitably grow a business, set/execute a forward-looking business strategy and deliver results in a fast-paced/competitive environmentStrong business/financial acumen with a working knowledge of the competitive landscapeStrong communication, influencing and motivational skillsInspirational leader able to manage cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams, creating a vision and inspiring others to actionLeadership style consistent with the Goodyear Values: Exceptional, Innovative, Relentless, Bold and Leads with One Team mindset#LI-FA1Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
