Outpatient Infusion RN

Shift: 5x8 Days

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Chemotherapy

Minimum Years of Experience: One in outpatient infusion

Patient Age Group: Adult, Geriatric

Technology: EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometer

Common Equipment Used: Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps

Roles and Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy and other medications to patients in an outpatient setting.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and side effects.
Facilitate blood product administration when necessary.

Floating requirements may apply. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
