Financial Counselor
Infirmary Health
Job Title
Performs analyses and communicates with customers to obtain required information for various types of accounts; informs and counsels customers of all payment options; coordinates and arranges settlement of accounts for balances due.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in word processing and PC based spreadsheet programs
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people
- Basic knowledge of credit and collections procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Terminology
- Knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, and laws both state and federal levels
- Working knowledge of credit and collections procedures in a health-related field
