Clinic Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse - Outpatient Cardiology & Interventional RadiologyThis is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No nights, weekends, or on-call required.We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Cardiology & Interventional Radiology department. This role involves providing care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures, with an emphasis on moderate sedation and arrhythmia recognition.Responsibilities:Perform Treadmill, Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETTs), and Nuclear Stress Testing.Conduct initial patient interviews and preliminary assessments of test data.Prepare studies for physician interpretation and ensure accurate and timely results.Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and provide education to patients and families.Assist with monitoring during special procedures such as stress-echo studies and tilt table studies.Recognize emergency situations and respond according to established policies and protocols.Identify and interpret arrhythmias effectively.Administer conscious sedation as necessary.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Active RN license in New York.Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be through AHA or RQI).A minimum of 2 years of patient care experience with recent arrhythmia recognition and cardiology experience.Previous experience in moderate sedation, treadmill and nuclear stress testing is preferred.Experience in ICU or Cardiology nursing is a plus.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
