About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading FP&A and operational finance for a multi-site wholesale distribution platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the organization's financial planning and analysis, including the rolling forecast, annual budget, and long-range strategic financial model. This role demands a leader who can ensure that financial activities are in line with growth and value creation objectives, and who can provide clear and insightful financial packages to the executive team and stakeholders. The VP of Finance will also be instrumental in standardizing financial performance metrics, leading ROI tracking for strategic initiatives, and partnering with the Chief Accounting Officer on various financial aspects. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience is required, with a strong preference for those who have spent 3-5 years in a senior finance role within a PE-backed portfolio company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in wholesale distribution or multi-state industrial environments, particularly with an understanding of high-volume, multi-location operating models. Deep expertise in financial modeling, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis, is essential, as is experience in M&A environments. The role also calls for advanced data mastery, particularly with ERP and Power BI, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing FP&A and financial analytics function.
