Ascend Staffing is hiring for Quality Control positions in Sunnyvale, TX!

Quality Control Tasks & Duties

• Perform detailed inspections of trading cards, checking for defects such as misprints, color inconsistencies, alignment issues, surface damage, and incorrect cutting to ensure they meet specified standards

• Accurately record findings from inspections, including detailed descriptions of any defects and the number of affected items, in compliance with quality control procedures

• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities in materials and determine the root cause

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues to minimize downtime and waste.

• Perform sample testing of packaged card to verify collection, alignment, and adherence to customer or internal specifications.

• Accurate document inspection results, including any defects or deviations found during the processes.

  Conduct regular quality audits to identify and address potential issues.

Quality Control Shift Info

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available

• Monday - Friday with possibility of overtime on the weekends

Quality Control Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Previous experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment. Strong attention to detail and observation skills.

• MUST pass Excel test

• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.

• Must possess excellent communication skills

• Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations

• Strong understanding of raw materials and the manufacturing industry

• Able to pass a backgroundcheck

• Able to work in the US.
