On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, patient-focused Dental Assistant II (DA II) to join a well-established, modern dental practice in Charlotte, NC. There are two locations in Charlotte and Ballantyne area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled dental professional who enjoys a collaborative environment, delivers exceptional patient care, and supports a range of general, restorative, and cosmetic dental procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient chairside assistance during general, restorative, and cosmetic dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures.
- Capture quality dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.
- Perform expanded dental assisting functions as permitted under North Carolina regulations.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, oral hygiene, and post-operative care.
- Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance standards.
- Support smooth patient flow and collaborate with the dental team to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
- Must meet North Carolina requirements for Dental Assistant II duties.
- Current dental radiography and CPR certifications/training as applicable.
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry and chairside procedures.
- Experience with digital radiography and dental practice management software preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
