John Scott House Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking to hire a n Activities Assistant ! We are looking for someone who is creative, energetic, friendly, and outgoing! The ideal candidate must enjoy working with older adults and in a team environment.Join our team!
Activities Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning and implementation of organized groups and one on one programs.
- Assist in developing a written comprehensive plan of care for each resident's activity program that identifies any problems or goals for each resident.
- Complete daily data logbooks and quarterly reports on individual residents as assigned
- Lead/oversee residents engaged in scheduled activity programs to promote physical, social, and mental well-being of residents
- Transport residents to and from activity locations
- Assist with meal pass and snacks as requested
- Develop and maintain a good working report with resident, family members, and other departments
- Must be able to maintain composure in emergency situations
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and assure confidentiality of all residents
Activities Assistant Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- High School Diploma or GED
