Associate Manager, Manufacturing - 2nd shift

Associate Manager, Manufacturing role responsible for overseeing production operations on the second shift at a medical device manufacturer. The position involves managing schedules, personnel, performance metrics, and compliance while supporting cross-functional collaboration to meet production objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage production area operations to achieve performance, schedule, quality, cost, and budget targets
• Develop production schedules and manpower requirements while prioritizing based on product introduction and equipment efficiency
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel; recruit and onboard new operators for continued growth
• Maintain stable workflow processes and oversee production performance metrics with continuous optimization
• Support cross-functional collaboration with engineering, group managers, and customers while ensuring regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years related manufacturing experience with Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
• Proficiency with MS Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and applicable state/federal compliance standards
• Strong business, analytical, organizational, and planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop direct reports
• Capacity to adapt effectively to frequent workload changes and competing priorities
