Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day and Night Shifts Available (12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 6:45 PM–7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Rotational holiday coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients with complex, actual or potential life-threatening conditions in an 18-bed ICU setting
• Perform invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring and manage patients on mechanical ventilation, including via ET tube and trach
• Titrate critical drips including vasopressors and sedation agents such as Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, and Insulin
• Manage patients with diagnoses including Sepsis, Acute MI, ARDS, stroke/TIA, seizures, renal conditions, post-vascular procedures, and lumbar drains
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently (no monitor tech on unit)
• Float as needed to Stepdown, Med-Surg/Telemetry, or to care for boarded ICU or Stepdown patients in the Emergency Department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum two years of critical care (ICU) experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Experience with CRRT and IABP

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Impella device
• PALS, NIHSS, and/or TNCC certifications preferred
• Familiarity with lumbar drain management and advanced ventilator management
