The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients during the labor and delivery process, while also being adaptable to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units as needed.Job Responsibilities\n \n Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the LDR environment.\n Float to Medical-Surgical units as necessary to accommodate overflow patient demands.\n Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n Participate in ongoing training and orientation to maintain competency in clinical practices.\n Work Schedule\n The position requires the following schedule:\n \n 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715.\n Every other weekend is mandatory.\n Participation in holiday rotations is expected.\n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.\n Willingness to float to MS and provide care for pediatric patients.\n EPIC experience is highly preferred.\n Preferred Experience\n \n 3+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery within a rural setting.\n Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.\n License and Certifications\n \n Current RN license.\n AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required.\n Completion of a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the last 24 months is mandatory.\n Commitment to obtain PALS certification prior to start date is essential.\n Work Environment\n This position is within a nicotine-free facility.Payroll and Payment Schedule\n Employees will receive biweekly pay.Location\n This position is based in Great Bend, KS.\n \n Thrive Staffing Job ID #19165657.
