Job Summary Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Traveling Physical Therapist in Tampa, FL. This traveling position covers Hillsborough County. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $55.00 - $59.00 per hour based on experience. Three‑month contract. 40 hours per week guaranteed, day shift schedule. Weekly pay 401(k) plan Skills training Medical, dental, and vision benefits Life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits Paid leave options including sick leave, other required leave, and holiday pay when eligible Primary Responsibilities Evaluates the patient’s functional status and physical therapy needs; assists the physician in developing the therapy plan of care. Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other health care team members. Observes and reports the patient’s response to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician. Treats patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice. Instructs and informs team members, the patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals. Visits patients according to the plan of treatment, completes a progress note for each visit, and submits progress notes. Completes all patient evaluations and develops the PT plan of care within state‑specific guidelines. Reports outcomes of evaluation, goals, and anticipated projected frequency of care. Qualifications Physical Therapist license in Florida. Home health experience. Homecare Homebase experience. Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable vehicle or access to public transportation. Ability to function in any home situation regardless of client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
