divh2Physical Therapist Assistant/h2pThe Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for therapeutic intervention for persons with illnesses or injuries, which impede independent functioning of mobility, activities of daily living, cognitive thinking, and/or vocation./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliFollows through on prescribed treatment plan as outlined by the supervising physical therapist./liliDemonstrates and applies the knowledge of human growth and development to deliver care in a manner appropriate to the age of the patient./liliProgresses patients according to the established treatment plan to achieve the highest potential level of function by discharge./liliDemonstrates awareness of patient precautions / contraindications when delivering care./liliReports any significant changes in patient condition or behavior to supervising physical therapist./li/ulpstrongRequirements:/strong/ppLicense and Education:/pulliNYS PTA License and registration required/liliCompleted a two-year college program for a Physical Therapist Assistant required/li/ulpSkills:/pulliPhysical therapist assistant must be able to provide treatment interventions following treatment plans established by supervising physical therapists to patients with diagnoses ranging from simple orthopedic conditions to more complex neurological conditions./liliMust be able to work in a fast-paced department./liliPositions requires ability to accurately and completely document in a timely manner utilizing the electronic medical record system EPIC./liliMust have excellent communication and customer service skills./li/ulpstrongPosted Salary Range/strong/ppUSD $43.00 - USD $43.00 /Hr./ppThis range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
