Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.How you'll contributeA Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role:Collects arterial blood samples using a blood gas analyzer; perform bedside EKGs, and tobacco-cessation education as ordered.Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and community resources.Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory supplies and medical gas cylinders; maintains storage areas and equipment readiness.Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, performs preventive maintenance, and calibrates respiratory equipment.Performs all responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.Participates in performance improvement and required education.Performs other duties as assigned.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
