Legal Assistant With Litigation Experience

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with litigation experience to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced, professional environment for our client located on Center City. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and typing skills who thrives in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and secretarial support to multiple attorneys
• Prepare, transcribe, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and briefs
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
• Handle e-filing for courts across Pennsylvania (all counties required)
• Enter and manage attorney time entries based on individual preferences
• Assist with client billing, including editing and coordinating with the Finance team
• Maintain organized files and conduct basic legal research as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and internal staff
• Provide general administrative support, including greeting clients and visitors

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
• Litigation experience required
• Strong typing skills (minimum 60 WPM)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), including document formatting and comparison tools
• Experience with e-filing systems (PA courts required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Solid understanding of legal terminology

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Location: Center City--Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 remote)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (35-hour workweek)
