Lifesteps Butler AT Center (Beside Huntington Bank on Rt 68)389 Evans City Road Butler, PA 16001 Or Call to inquire about positions - View phone number on click.appcast.io Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency in Butler, PA is currently hiring a full-time (12 month) Preschool Teacher who will work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, to prepare children for kindergarten. Normal hours are 8 am until 5 pm at our childcare center. We will consider part-time hours for the preschool teacher role, as well. This preschool teacher position will assist in the classroom with lesson planning, scheduling, and daily activities. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a quality-driven, developmentally-appropriate early education experience that supports all children regardless of their diverse abilities.
This position will also serve in the capacity of Assistant Group Supervisor (AGS child care staff) as needed to meet ratio in a particular classroom and float throughout the different preschool classrooms, if needed, in Butler center.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education OR
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Family Studies, History, Art Therapy, or a Related Field, AND ability to obtain Private Academic License through the PA Dept of Education
- Previous experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years is preferred - such as Teacher Aide, Classroom Aide, Child Care Assistant, Paraprofessional, etc.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
