With respect to insurance, we place many of our largest clients who qualify in highly profitable group captive programs that have saved millions, and we do so for more A/E firms than all other insurance brokers combined.We've been so successful, that now we're looking to grow our team!Account Manager - Project SolutionsThe Account Manager - Project Solutions will be the primary client contact and will be expected to actively cultivate, improve and cement positive client relationships and use appropriate company resources in performing these functions. While the Account Manager will work with new clients produced by others, the Account Manager will not be expected to develop new business. The Account Manager's main function is to: provide day-to-day client service, manage the renewal process for existing clients, and manage the intake and establishment of new clients.Location: Hybrid required, 3 days a week in-office - in Alpharetta GA, Chicago IL, or St. Louis MO.What We're Looking ForCandidates with strong, professional communication skills – both written and verbal. Ideal candidates can successfully pivot between providing detailed and accurate written communication, as well as picking up the phone and having a detailed verbal conversation with clients or internal stakeholders.High attention to detail, and the ability to learn and understand software systems quickly.Required: At least 5+ years of experience working for an insurance agency, broker or carrier, AND experience working with Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIPs, CCIPs) and Builder's RiskCandidates who adapt well to priority changes, deadlines, and who love problem solving and coming up with solutions and answers to client questions.What You'll DoA detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):Critical Job Functions: The account manager will handle day-to-day client issues and questions, including but not limited to:Answer client questions and resolve client problemsProcess and follow up on cancellation notices by insurers to ensure accurate and timely resolutionAppropriately document customer service transactionsHandle changes in exposure and manage related endorsement and documentation processForward contract reviews to appropriate resourcesForward certificate of insurance requests to appropriate resourceIssue Auto ID Cards as neededCreate and update account information in the shared databaseClaims reportingAssist with processing of invoicing and order financing when appropriateProactively manage the insurance renewal and new business process in accordance with EPIC's timing standards.Pre?complete insurance applicationsSend request for information to clientsFollow?up on collecting informationSubmit information to insurersNegotiate policy termsObtain options from competing insurers as neededPrepare insurance proposal including analysis and comparison of options (if applicable)Present to client (mostly via phone or web)Prepare documentation including invoicing and confirmation of coverageReview and email policies to clientsUse agency management system (Sagitta) as appropriate throughout the processJob Accountability Measures:Customer satisfaction; retentionAdherence to established proceduresTiming and quality of serviceTechnical accuracy; attention to detailPositive professional attitude; leadershipProactive problem?solvingEffective communicationPersonal developmentAvoidance of errors and omissionsMeet or exceed agreed?upon goalsWhat You'll BringSkills & Qualifications:Must have 5+ years of experience in working with commercial insurance, preferably with Builder's Risk and OCIPs / CCIPs.Experience in placing insurance for companies in Architect, Engineering & Construction industries is highly desirable.Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.Educational requirement: Bachelor's degree preferred - experience equivalent will be considered. Broker's P&C license is required, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.Compensation:Exempt: The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. This range represents the employer's good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data.
