Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the SICU specializing in intensive care for post-surgical and multi-system trauma patients. The ideal candidate will have ICU experience and be skilled in a Level I trauma setting. This role involves working in an acute care environment with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in SICU
• Titrate drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
• Interpret telemetry strips
• Collaborate with intensivists and support staff

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or application in process
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience in Level I trauma and ICU settings
