Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing matters. Responsible for coordinating transactions from inception through closing, reviewing title and survey documentation, preparing closing documents, and managing transaction deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.
• Order, review, and analyze title commitments, searches, and surveys.
• Work with title companies and surveyors to resolve issues and satisfy closing requirements.
• Prepare deeds, releases, affidavits, settlement statements, and closing documentation.
• Draft title objection letters and closing instruction letters.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, and other transaction parties.
• Track critical dates, closing requirements, and document delivery.
• Maintain transaction records and correspondence in document management systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable real estate closing regulations.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of law firm experience involving commercial real estate leasing and transactions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Paralegal certification preferred.

Special Requirements

• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Commercial real estate transactions, leasing, and closing procedures.
• Title commitments, surveys, settlement statements, and closing documentation.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong document preparation, organization, and deadline management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and collaborate with attorneys, clients, and staff.

Work Environment

Office location in Fort Lauderdale or Miami, FL , Specific onsite or hybrid schedule not provided.
