Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor oversees financial accounting staff and manages accounting operations for a multi-entity real estate development company. This role is responsible for accumulating and consolidating financial data while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage deadlines, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepare, record, and oversee prepaid allocations, accruals, revenue, and other period-end journal entries in accordance with close schedules Provide cash management support across 200+ bank accounts, including transfers, reconciliations, intercompany loans, and daily reporting; identify opportunities to improve efficiencies Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Review payroll funding and allocations; ensure payroll accuracy and prepare bonus calculations Oversee intercompany allocations, including credit card processing and weekly reimbursements Prepare jurisdictional tax returns and maintain business licenses Manage jurisdictional tax audits Assist with annual tax packet preparation as needed Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s degree or higher with a focus in Accounting 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, including supervisory experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize Ability to succeed in a deadline-driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be legally authorized to work in accordance with state and federal guidelines #J-18808-Ljbffr The Siegel Group
