Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN OR Circulator with at least 1 year of OR experience for a day-shift position requiring an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a 355-bed acute care hospital
• 13-bed surgical suite supporting adult patients with minimal pediatric (outpatient only) cases
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
• On-call required on weekends only, approximately 7 days per month including Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Utilizes robotics (Davinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table equipment
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or compact) required
• Current AHA certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of OR experience required
• Ortho or Neuro experience preferred
• ADN or BSN required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility includes Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU
• No scrub color requirement as the facility provides a scrub machine
• Outside attire not laundered by the hospital is not acceptable
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• First-time travelers may be considered
