What You'll Do:

• Develop component, complex assembly, and engine-level design solutions that balance safety, manufacturing capability, robustness, cost, weight, maintainability, and repair requirements.
• Create and maintain engineering models, drawings, technical documents, and other design definition artifacts while ensuring quality, configuration control, and data integrity.
• robust design, systems engineering, risk management, and producibility principles to eliminate non-conformances, support zero-defect objectives, and deliver repeatable manufacturing solutions.
• Use engineering calculations, analytical tools, automated workflows, and model-based definition methods to validate designs against functional and physical requirements.
• Coordinate subsystem integration and external design activities while supporting supply chain design, lifecycle profitability, product configuration, and through-life engineering needs.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 4+ years of Gas turbine, fans and compressor turbine experience.
• 4+ years of CAD experience.

What Sets You Apart:

• Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and have an understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering and product definition.
• An ability to logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters.
• Knowledge of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks.
• Membership of a relevant professional body appropriate to region.
• Good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to mesh with existing team.
• Risk analysis and GD&T.
• Limit stacks – basic design skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
