Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a Portland, OR hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis. This role includes performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as required by the department. Minimum Qualifications Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required Advanced certification in CT modality: Required in OR and HI; preferred in CA Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS): Required Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR Experience operating Siemens Flash Dual Source and Siemens Perspective CT systems: Preferred Experience performing CT procedures and additional imaging such as general radiography and fluoroscopy: Required Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology Assignment Details Shift pattern: Sunday through Wednesday, up to 12-hour day shifts On-call rotation for weekend coverage as back-up technologist Department staffed 24/7; candidate may be expected to participate in departmental coverage as needed Benefits Designed for Travelers We acknowledge your time and responsiveness.
