The Cafe Attendant plays a vital role within a small team, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day cafe operations. This role involves interacting with customers, preparing food and beverages, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The position includes operating a Point of Sale (POS) system and offers opportunities for career growth into management roles. Working hours are flexible and include morning, afternoon, evening, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Take accurate customer orders and operate POS system
• Prepare food items and beverages according to standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the cafe and comply with health & safety regulations
• Manage inventory and replenish stock as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in food service
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Good time management and attention to detail
