Web Developer

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from website enhancements to custom web applications while collaborating with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Transform creative designs into dynamic, responsive, and accessible websites and web applications. Build and maintain custom functionality using modern development practices. Test and maintain compatibility across modern browsers, operating systems, and devices. Maintain existing websites and applications by troubleshooting issues, applying fixes, and implementing enhancements. Integrate with third-party APIs and RESTful web services. Investigate and resolve application, database, and server-related issues. Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. Front‑End Development Qualifications Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js. Understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices. Back‑End Development Qualifications Strong experience with PHP 8+ and MySQL. Strong object‑oriented programming skills. Strong understanding of relational database design and development. Experience working with MVC frameworks such as Laravel. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and web services. Development Tools & Platforms. Experience using Git for version control. Basic knowledge of GNU/Linux and Apache web servers. Familiarity with package management tools such as Composer and npm. Experience with design tools such as Figma and/or Adobe Photoshop. CMS experience with platforms such as ExpressionEngine or WordPress. Desired Abilities Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving skills. Eager to take ownership of new tasks and communicate effectively throughout the development process. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication and time‑management skills. Ability to balance quality, deadlines, and multiple projects.
