The role

This is the seat for an engineer who has already brought up a motor drive or inverter — and wants the next one to fly.

You will not check schematics for a living. You will own boards and subsystems on Taurus-class controllers: gate drive, sense path, aux supplies, layout revisions, bring-up, and test. The senior owns architecture. You own execution that ships.

What you will do

• Design and revise Taurus sections: gate drive, current/voltage sensing, housekeeping supplies, connectors, protection.
• Capture schematics and drive layout constraints for high-dv/dt, creepage, and thermal performance.
• Bring up prototypes — first power, functional checks, load, thermal and EMI debug — with lab and firmware.
• Write test procedures, support production, and close bench and field issues.
• Learn the full 20–405 V Taurus family so you can grow from a subsection to a complete controller.

What you bring

• 3–5 years on power electronics, motor drives, inverters, or high-reliability mixed-signal boards.
• Working knowledge of MOSFETs or SiC FETs, gate drivers, current-sense amps, isolated supplies, PWM stages.
• Schematic capture and the ability to read — and argue with — a layout (Altium preferred).
• Hands-on lab habits. You have used a differential probe without asking which button is auto-set.
• BSEE or equivalent. Bonus: BLDC/PMSM, FOC literacy, CAN, IP-rated packaging, aerospace or EV powertrain.

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production and lab areas.

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
