Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position OverviewAmerican Outdoor Brands is looking for an individual who is motivated, able to multitask, meet daily deadlines and able to work independently with minimal supervision.The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing accounts, posting daily cash, working with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain assigned accountsSend statements of accounts to customers in a timely mannerInvestigate and resolve customer inquiries dailyResearch and resolve payment discrepanciesManage accurate customer accounts by reviewing deductions and open invoicesInteract daily with customers via phone, and emailInteract with Order Management and Sales TeamProcess A/R adjustments and customer refundsApply cash received to customer accounts received through a Lock Box, ACH, Wires or Credit CardApply credit memos and discounts to customer accounts ensuring appropriate approvals are receivedReconciles applied cash with General LedgerLimited general ledger data entryOther duties as assignedNOTE: This list presents only the principal duties of the position and is not intended to be comprehensive.
