Private Duty Pediatric Nurse - Essex, MD

We are actively looking to hire compassionate, energetic LPNs & RNs to help care for our home healthcare clients. We are willing to train in G-tube, trach, and ventilator areas if needed. Our nursing supervisors are eagerly awaiting to teach nurses. The position is Private Duty Nurse for an 11-year-old female, with G/J-tube & vent in Essex, MD. Shift(s): Sunday 10pm-6am. Job Responsibilities Working one-on-one in the client's home Complete nursing assessment Administer medication & treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner Job Requirements Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse Valid CPR/BLS certification Confidence to work independently Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates. Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates) Pediatric experience is a plus Benefits/Salary Information Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and vary per case. Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
