Steam and Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Thermal & Cooling Specialist to oversee the smooth operation, routine servicing, and repair of critical plant systems. In this role, you will manage large-scale steam boilers, industrial refrigeration, specialized airflow, and pneumatic networks across our client's facility. You will play a vital role in upholding high standards of safety, compliance, and smooth daily operations while directly interacting with staff and site visitors in a professional, courteous manner.

salary: $64,479 - $64,480 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Execute routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on steam-producing units, ventilation, refrigeration, and pneumatic installations.

• Evaluate assigned tasks, organize priorities according to designated schedules, and execute work efficiently.

• Partner closely with internal technical teams and site stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. Maintain active communication and timely follow-ups regarding ongoing repairs and inspections.

• Monitor and react promptly to dispatch notifications, urgent alarms, and critical system alerts.

• Keep precise logs of safety audits, maintenance histories, and operational reports. Uphold all organizational standards, risk mitigation strategies, and strict privacy guidelines.

• Keep work spaces, shop areas, and assigned tools clean, safe, and well-maintained. Report any major machinery issues immediately to leadership.

• Utilize supplies efficiently and care for specialized equipment to prevent unnecessary costs.

• Participate in continuous professional training. Provide shift coverage during staff absences, showing flexibility for evening, weekend, or holiday shifts as necessary.

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
