We are looking for a Plant Controller to serve the financial backbone of our manufacturing facility, partnering directly with plant leadership to drive operational performance and profitability. This role goes beyond traditional accounting — you'll translate complex cost data into actionable insights, challenge assumptions, and help shape the financial direction of the plant. Why join us? What You'll Do Lead all accounting and financial operations for the plant, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all reporting Own the month-end close process — journal entries, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting Maintain and continuously improve standard costing and cost accounting systems Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead, scrap, and inventory) and communicate findings to plant leadership Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory oversight Identify operational trends and flag risks and opportunities before they impact the bottom line Partner with plant and operations managers to improve efficiency and reduce costs Provide financial analysis supporting labor decisions, capital expenditures, and strategic initiatives Prepare and present performance reports to both plant and corporate leadership Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial procedures Support internal and external audit requirements What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment Strong command of cost accounting, inventory control, and variance analysis Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills A sharp analytical mind with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Exceptional communication skills — you're equally comfortable presenting to the CFO and walking the plant floor with an operations manager Interested in hearing more?
