Structural Engineer – Waterfront Projects (Houston, TX) PND Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to strengthen our team in Houston by producing high-quality engineering documents and drawing sets for waterfront and marine infrastructure projects. What You’ll Do: Focus on the technical production of complete, coordinated, and buildable engineering plans, specifications, and reports. Perform detailed structural analysis and design for waterfront structures, including mooring systems, bulkheads, breakwaters, and coastal protection structures. Work closely with senior engineers and clients to develop high-quality construction documents that meet all project requirements and industry standards. Participate in design coordination efforts with other disciplines, contractors, and owners to ensure smooth project delivery. Stay current with industry trends, codes, and technologies, bringing innovative yet practical solutions to design challenges. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited program. Master’s degree preferred. Texas P.E. License (or the ability to obtain within 6 months). 5–8+ years of focused experience in structural analysis, design, and preparation of engineering document and drawing packages. Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of structural loads, material behavior, and code requirements. Proficiency in producing comprehensive, accurate, and coordinated engineering drawing sets and calculations. Attention to detail and commitment to quality in technical deliverables. Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively with design teams and clients. Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
