Position involves providing pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting medication orders. Ensuring safety and efficacy of medication use is a primary focus. Oversight of pharmacy technicians and medication dispensing processes is required. Experience in a variety of patient populations from newborns to geriatrics is beneficial. Familiarity with medical and behavioral health is advantageous. Knowledge of electronic medical record systems is preferred. Rotating shifts between days and evenings are required.
