Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Kansas

Start Date: October 6, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 1:6 patient ratio (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)

• 37-bed Surgical/Telemetry unit in a large teaching facility
• Collaborative team environment with experienced staff including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Unit Clerks
• Diverse case mix including cardiac procedures, central lines, medication drips, Heart Cath recovery, and bubble studies
• Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tube management
• Travel RN assignment with opportunity to work alongside tenured, experienced nursing professionals
• Day shift position on 3rd floor unit

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current Telemetry hospital experience (required)
• Current RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Prior experience traveling to large teaching facilities (preferred)
• Previous Meditech EMR experience (preferred)
• Strong critical thinking skills with ability to work independently
