Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Telemetry) – Kansas

Start Date: October 6, 2025

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), travel assignment at a large teaching facility

Highlights:

• 37-bed surgical telemetry unit with diverse patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:6 standard, 1:4 for cardiac catheterization recovery patients
• Experience with central lines, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies
• Collaborative team environment with experienced staff including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Unit Clerks
• Meditech EMR system; equipment includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tube management
• Opportunity to work with a skilled, tenured team in a large teaching hospital setting

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas (or eligible for compact state licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of current Telemetry experience in a hospital setting (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior travel experience at large teaching facilities (preferred)
• Meditech EMR experience (preferred)
