Insurance Coverage Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our New York office. We are looking for a motivated attorney who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is interested in handling sophisticated insurance coverage and litigation matters for a diverse client base.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys analytical legal work, strategic counseling, and courtroom advocacy while working alongside an experienced team with a strong reputation in the insurance and litigation space.Responsibilities-Analyze and interpret insurance policies and coverage issues-Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters-Handle insurance coverage litigation matters from inception through resolution-Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and discovery-Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and depositions-Communicate directly with insurers, insureds, and opposing counsel-Manage case files independently while collaborating with partners and team membersQualifications-J.D.-Active admission to the New York Bar-3+ years of insurance coverage and/or insurance defense experience preferred-Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills-Experience handling complex litigation matters is a plus-Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters effectively-Professional, client-focused communication skillsWhat We Offer-Competitive compensation based on experience-Bonus opportunities-Health and benefits package-Collaborative and supportive work environment-Opportunity for professional growth and advancement-Exposure to sophisticated and high-level coverage matters
