Financial Reporting Manager

This is a high-visibility role at the center of Stinger’s financial reporting function. You will own technical accounting, consolidated GAAP and non-GAAP reporting, budgeting, and acquisition accounting across domestic and foreign subsidiaries, working closely with the Controller, Accounting Manager, UK Controller, and external auditors. Key Responsibilities Review and oversee multi-entity consolidation, across domestic and foreign subsidiaries; partner with the Accounting Manager and UK Controller to ensure a clean, timely close. Prepare and issue complete financial statements—balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements—on a timely basis. Prepare and analyze GAAP and non-GAAP financial reporting packages for senior management, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities. Lead technical accounting research and execution, including acquisition accounting, purchase price allocations, and implementation of new accounting standards. Coordinate preparation of external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Serve as a primary liaison to external auditors during the annual audit. Provide oversight of accounting policies and controls across subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and compliance as the company integrates newly acquired entities. Own the budgeting and forecasting process; analyze variances and partner with leadership to drive corrective actions. Administer and improve NetSuite and supporting financial systems; train team members and troubleshoot system issues. Partner with the Controller to identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation across the accounting function. Qualifications Proficient in Excel. Ability to meet deadlines. Experienced presenting financial results and analysis directly to senior management. Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting. Ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles Highly proficient with ERP and budgeting software (NetSuite & Planful Preferred). Demonstrate competence in leadership and decision making. Ability to keep accurate and detailed records. Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure. Must be comfortable working with confidential data. Prior exposure to M&A activity, including due diligence support or post‑acquisition integration.
