PHYSICIAN - Pathology (0.8 -1.0 FTE) - Fargo, ND

Location Fargo, ND – centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota, 3.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Fargo-Moorhead population: 225,000. Regional service area includes 25 clinics and 6 hospitals. Team Overview Essentia Health-Fargo seeks an AP/CP board eligible or board-certified pathologist to join a team of 4 pathologists, including hematopathology and dermatopathology fellowship-trained specialists, plus 2 pathology assistants. Practice Details Team of 4 pathologists (including fellowship-trained), 2 pathology assistants. Open to general pathologists and fellowship-trained pathologists. Experience and fellowship training desired but not required. All subspecialties considered. On-call coverage divided equally among pathologists. Strong clinical pathology skills preferred. Expanding referral practice. Outreach and laboratory medical directorships. Dedicated supportive staff and lab operations team. PAs perform gross dissections including frozen sections. No autopsies. Epic & Epic Beaker system used. Requirements BC/BE in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. BC/BE in Fellowship as applicable (fellowship not required). Compensation $476,000. Hired candidates may be eligible for bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
