Job Description Job Title Occupational Therapist- Contingent About the Department Join the Outpatient Rehabilitation team at Henry Ford Rehabilitation - Dearborn, part of Henry Ford Health's renowned rehabilitation services. Our Occupational Therapy department is dedicated to helping patients with Hand and other Upper Extremity conditions regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care. Role Overview As an Occupational Therapist, you will perform comprehensive OT evaluations and implement treatment plans to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of patients. Your work directly supports individuals in their journey to regain independence and improve their quality of life, making a meaningful impact on their recovery and well-being. What You Will Do Conduct OT evaluations to assess patients'functional abilities and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living and work skills. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications Occupational Therapy bachelor's degree from an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accredited program. Current State of Michigan licensure. Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire). Eligibility Requirements We are looking for an experienced, minimally 2-3 years Hand Therapist or a Certified Hand Therapist.
