Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is based in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care within the critical care environment. The nurse will utilize the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The position also includes participating in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring the implementation of those solutions.

Job Details:

• Location: Jackson, Michigan
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years previous Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience - ACLS and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in a trauma level 2 facility - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Certifications & Licensure: - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing - BLS certification from AHA
• Additional Information: The assignment involves providing professional nursing services, clinical knowledge, analytical abilities, and effective communication skills necessary for development and implementation of nursing care plans. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with auto offers approved. The shift includes night hours, and the minimum experience required is 0 years, with a preference for those with 2 or more years of ICU experience.
