Bakery Clerk/Food Handler
- Inform customers about bakery products and services. Bakery team members are expected to maintain a sufficient amount of knowledge about all products in store and be able to answer questions and make suggestions to customers.
- Be able to assist customers with orders both in person and over the phone
- Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment
- Maintain cleanliness of bakery store including cleaning cases, work surfaces, front table, and straightening display areas.
- Replace baked goods in store as needed
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills, good attitude and the ability to work with others on a daily basis
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Respect for self and others
- Reliable, punctual and committed to customer service
Looking for employees to work Monday through Friday and some weekends, part time up to full time employees. Shifts include early mornings, evenings until a little after 7pm and holidays. Must have the ability to be flexible with hours throughout the week depending on the needs of the bakery.
