South Texas Periodontal Associates are seeking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Patient Relations Coordinator to join our dental team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients while supporting the daily administrative operations of the office. Periodontal experience, dual language and active RDA license are PLUSES . This is a Full-time opportunity and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Answer phone calls and assist with patients and referring offices
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
• Assist with insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and follow-up
• Communicate patient financial responsibilities for their visits
• Maintain accurate patient and insurance information
• Coordinate with the team to keep the schedule full and effective.
• Assist with other font-office duties as needed

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of dental office and/or dental insurance experience required
• Friendly and professional with excellent customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with patients in person and over the phone
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a busy dental office
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn programs as required
• Periodontal experience, dual language and active RDA license are PLUSES

Hours of Operation:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Education/Certification: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
