Test Technician

We are seeking a Test Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of electronic components, testing procedures, and troubleshooting. This position is responsible for testing, diagnosing, and verifying electronic products to ensure they meet quality and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and finished products using electronic test equipment.
• Set up and operate equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other diagnostic instruments.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and test procedures.
• Identify, diagnose, and document electrical and electronic failures and assist with corrective actions.
• Record test results accurately and communicate defects or issues to engineering and production teams.
• Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing in accordance with established specifications.
• Maintain test equipment, tools, and workstations in proper working condition.
• Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and production requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience testing or troubleshooting electronic equipment or circuit boards.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic principles.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to document test results and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

salary: $52,000 - $74,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and inspection of products, components, and equipment according to established procedures and specifications.
• Set up and operate test equipment, tools, and instruments to evaluate product performance and functionality.
• Record, analyze, and document test results, identifying defects, failures, or performance issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment and products to determine the cause of test failures and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following company quality and safety procedures.
